The potent tool in democracy called :RTI

In my belief Right to Information(RTI), is the most potent tool available at the disposal of the citizens of India.This act allows any citizen to get information on proceedings/rulings/actions from most of the government departments. The process to file a petition is very simple.

Every dept be it Local/State/Central has a PIO(Public Information Officer). The application for Local/State dept has to be filed with the PIO office. For the Central dept the petition can be filed in the post office. The charge for the petition is Rs 10.
